The Builder in Inistate enables users to design and modify workflow applications for mobile and desktop views. It offers real-time previews of the app's interface, allowing users to make adjustments and see functionality without coding. Various tools are provided for configuring modules, designing interfaces, and managing workflows.
The Builder interface is divided into three main sections:
Workspace Menu Bar (Left Panel)
Mobile App Preview Area (Center)
Module Management Area (Right Panel)
The mobile app preview area displays a smartphone model, simulating the mobile view of the application. This preview allows users to interact with the app as if they were using it on a mobile device. Features of this section include:
The main page of the workspace appears on the simulated mobile screen, displaying all available modules (e.g., Registration, Check-In, Members). Clicking on a module opens the listings or entries within that module.
A menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the phone screen expands a side menu with the following options:
New Workspace: Allows users to create a new workspace.
Invite: Provides options to invite new users to the workspace.
Members: Displays a list of current workspace members.
Settings: Opens workspace settings for configuration.
Design Mode: Allows users to edit modules, listings, and information fields directly within the mobile app interface.
Logout: Logs out of the workspace.
This navigation bar includes:
Home: Returns to the main page of the workspace.
My Task: Provides access to the user's assigned tasks.
Dashboard: Displays user-specific metrics and analytics.
Calendar: Shows scheduled events and tasks.
QR: A QR code scanner for company-generated QR codes. (can't be used in builder- only in the app)
Located in the top-right corner of the phone screen, the notification bell provides updates relevant to the user.
Above the phone screen, several icons allow users to control the view and functionality of the preview:
View Workflow: Opens a visualization of the current workflow.
Mobile View: Switches the preview to a mobile layout.
Desktop Preview: Changes the view to a desktop layout.
Reload: Refreshes the current preview.
Fullscreen: Expands the mobile preview segment and gets rid of the left and right panels.
A search bar can be found once you click into a module tab, allowing users to search within the current module.
The right panel provides tools for managing and configuring modules in the workspace, similar to those in the "Studio" section. Users can manage listings, information fields, activities, workflows, and templates from this panel.
Run Mode
Located in the top-right corner, this button allows users to run the application and test configurations.
An option to switch back to the Studio section for deeper configuration and workflow management.
